Sold!

This past weekend we brought the Aliner up to NH to a wonderful woman and her daughter and they bought it.  On one hand I am really glad I didn't have to list it and it went to a good home but on the other I am sad to see it gone and I know I'll miss it.  I keep trying to remind myself too of the wonder new camper in our driveway that I have been looking for for years.  I'm thinking our first trip in a few weeks to Myrtle Beach should cure my blues. I know the Aliner went to a good home though and I bet we'll cross paths again.  I am going to stay on the Yahoo group list, maybe go to digest I guess.  There is a lot of great info and knowledge shared on the list that goes beyond owning an aframe.  Maybe I'll start a new blog for the new camper?  Most of what I have done to that so far is buy and make sheets for the odd sized bunks and bed and try to figure out where to put things.  You'd think with the extra size of the new camper it'd be easier, lol.

  1. Hello, My husband and I stumbled across your blog as we were looking for ways to replace the flooring in our 2000 Aliner Camper. We too are dealing with floor rot. YUCK. We found your blog very inspiring, you did a great job with the remodel. We would also like to replace the main door handle as ours like to lock on its own. I have to tell you I had to laugh at Steve when he told me, we are just like these people, he said, "He is a carpenter, like me, and she likes the same colors and decorating style as you." . Anyway I thought I would share that with you. If you have any suggestions please feel free to contact us. My name is Amy and my husband is Steve. We live in Macomb, IL our email address is steveamy86@hotmail.com.
    Thanks

  2. Hi Amy! That's great. I really hope whatever I've written or documented here helps you guys out a lot. There is a lot of info out there but it is scattered. My hopes were to try to help anyone else out that was going to take this on themselves. It was so worth it, even tho we did sell it. I'm hoping it sees many more camping trips. If you ever need anything explained further contact me and we'll see if we can help.
